About the Global Exchange

A widely used, highly effective approach to student success, Student-Focused Coaching (SFC) helps instructional coaches and teachers work collaboratively to improve student outcomes using evidence-based practices. In this collaborative online learning event, Daryl Michel, Ph.D. (coauthor of Student-Focused Coaching and Instructional Leadership in Student-Focused Coaching), will unite colleagues from around the world to discuss implementation successes and challenges for a range of SFC topics.

This isn’t a book study or a formal webinar—instead, the focus is on connecting with and learning from each other. You’ll connect with other participants through:

  • Chat responses to reflection questions
  • Breakout rooms with international colleagues who have implemented one or more SFC components of the model
