Abby Taylor supports teachers and childcare programs in the greater Nashville area. Abby works on Dr. Mary Louise Hemmeter’s research projects focused on implementing the Pyramid Model in child care programs and, specifically, in infant and toddler classrooms. Abby’s role on these projects includes providing trainings, on-site coaching, and data management.
As a licensed teacher, Abby began her career as a lead teacher in inclusive preschool classrooms where she learned to implement behavior support plans, promote social skills with young children, and provide individualized instruction. Abby has always loved working with children and has always been passionate about spreading the Pyramid Model in order to support teacher’s promotion of children’s social-emotional development and ability to provide positive behavior support to all children.
