AEPSi Virtual Hands-On Training

This training is for AEPSi. This is NOT a training for AEPS-3.

Attend a live, interactive learning session for the new AEPSi system!

Led by an experienced and engaging trainer, this hands-on learning session will show you how to effectively and efficiently use AEPS®i, the web-based management system for AEPS®-3.

Learn how to:

  • Navigate the AEPSi system
  • Enter and manage assessment data
  • Use assessment activities to shorten assessment time
  • Incorporate the AEPS-3 Curriculum into intervention planning
  • Summarize AEPS-3 test information for programming purposes and for sharing with families/caregivers
  • Use Child and Class Reports to track child progress and inform intervention
  • Prepare OSEP data efficiently using AEPSi

Who should attend?

This virtual learning session is suitable for providers at all experience levels. New users will learn how to integrate the online system with their current processes, and existing users will get tips on how to better utilize their system to get the maximum benefit. AEPS-3 users considering implementing AEPSi are welcome to attend.

Please Note: If your agency has more than 4 participants, please divide them across the available AEPSi Hands-On Learning Sessions or contact seminars@brookespublishing.com to schedule a private AEPSi Hands-On Learning Session for your organization.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
Registration for this training will close two weeks prior to the training date. Registration may be closed prior to the cutoff date due to reaching maximum capacity.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Registration fees are nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute in your place or transfer to another training. All substitution and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to seminars@brookespublishing.com no later than the registration deadline for this training. Substitution requests have a fee of $25.00, and transfer requests have a fee of $75.00. After the registration deadline has passed, we are unable to accept substitutions and/or transfers for this training.

Training Requirements

All participants must attend on their own laptop or tablet and WiFi/Internet Service. All participants must have their cameras on during the training in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Meet the Trainers

MaryAlice Batts-Hatfield

MaryAlice Batts-Hatfield is an expert trainer who helps users at all experience levels navigate and improve their AEPSi interactions. MaryAlice incorporates a thoughtful blend of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on learning in her training classes. She works directly with users to help them best organize and implement their account and to create repeatable processes so that all providers can utilize the AEPSi system efficiently and successfully.

MaryAlice has a background in education, customer service, and business analytics, and has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. She has been with Brookes Publishing for more than 9 years.

Monica Belle

Monica Belle, Implementation Manager, has served as technical project manager of the AEPSi development teams since June 2006. In this capacity, Monica has overseen and performed the structural development, maintenance, and updates to the web-based system, including the launch of the new AEPSi system for AEPS-3.

Monica has designed and led webinars, slide presentations, and conference calls, and has traveled throughout the United States to provide existing and prospective user support to school districts, systems, and states. She excels at delivering detailed information on upcoming AEPSi updates and current AEPSi capabilities, including outcomes reporting and collecting user feedback. Monica is unmatched in her balanced knowledge of the technical specifications of AEPSi and best practices for the practical application and deployment of the system across small and large groups.
