Please note that we have a specific number of seats available for the Institute. The demand is high and seating is limited and will fill quickly. We cannot guarantee that seating will be available through the registration cutoff date. Registration may be closed prior to the cutoff date due to reaching maximum.
About the Institute
Q: What do I need to know about attending the virtual ASQ Institute?
To successfully complete the Virtual Training Institute, participants must
- attend video conference sessions using a desktop or laptop computer. Smartphones and tablets are not compatible with some of the activities planned for the training.
- attend the sessions with their webcameras enabled. The trainers must be able to see all participants. Webcams will also support interactive participation in various training activities. Webcams may be built into your computer or add-on attachments.
- attend sessions throughout the entire three days, participating in all aspects of the training. The Institute will be conducted on August 17–19 from 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. ET.
- have copies of ASQ®-3 User’s Guide and the ASQ®:SE-2 User’s Guide with them during the training sessions. If you need copies, you can purchase them at brookespublishing.com with savings code PREASQTX to receive a 20% discount.
- have the ASQ-3 & ASQ:SE-2 Training of Trainers Handbook with them during the training sessions. This Handbook will be shipped to their preferred address by Brookes in advance.
Q: How do I join the ASQ Institute virtually?
The Host will send an invitation through Zoom for each day of the Institute. A different link will be provided for each day of the Institute. The link for Monday will be provided no later than Thursday prior to your Institute. The link for Tuesday will be provide after Monday’s session. The link for Wednesday will be provide after Tuesday’s session.
Q: Where can I learn more about ASQ Online?
For those who currently use ASQ Online or those who are considering implementing ASQ Online, this is your opportunity to learn more detailed information about the data management and online questionnaire completion system! We will be hosting a virtual ASQ Online hands-on learning session on Thursday, August 6 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The additional registration fee is USD $325.00 per person.
You must provide your own laptop or tablet for this training and Wi-Fi/Internet service. We will provide the Zoom link, the ASQ Online demo account, and training materials through the Brookes Download Hub. You will be asked to print the training materials. Space is limited.
Institute Hours and Attendance Requirements
Q. What are the hours of the Institute training?
Virtual training institutes are being held twice in August. Please pay close attention to the times for your specific Institute.
August 3, 4, and 5: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
August 17, 18, and 19: 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Schedule is subject to change.
For the best possible Institute experience and to successfully complete the training, please plan to attend virtually until the conclusion on Wednesday. Certificates of completion and the USB flash drive of training materials will be mailed at the conclusion of the Institute to those who successfully complete the entire Institute.
Q: Do I need to attend the full Institute training?
Yes, participants must stay for the entire time on each day in order to successfully complete the training, no exceptions. Certificates of completion and the flash drive of training materials will be mailed at the end to those who successfully complete the entire Institute.

Q: What products are required for the training?
- ASQ-3 User’s Guide (Brookes Publishing Stock #70045, $55.00);
- ASQ:SE-2 User’s Guide (Brookes Publishing Stock #79581, $55.00); and the
- ASQ-3 & ASQ:SE-2 Training of Trainers Trainer’s Handbook (see details below)
Institute attendees receive a 20% pre-Institute discount on all ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 products (except ASQ Online). The discount code will be emailed along with your confirmation of registration, once your payment is processed. Please allow at least three (3) weeks shipping time to receive your products before the Institute.
ASQ-3 & ASQ:SE-2 Training of Trainers Trainer’s Handbook: As part of your registration fee, Brookes will ship the ASQ-3 & ASQ:SE-2 Training of Trainers Trainer’s Handbook to your preferred address at no additional charge. This Handbook is separate from the ASQ-3 User’s Guide and the ASQ:SE-2 User’s Guide that are required. The Handbook contains practice forms, case studies, and handouts for customizing your own introduction trainings.
Q: Do I need to have the ASQ-3 and/or ASQ:SE-2 Paper Questionnaires or Starter Kits to the attend the virtual training?
No, you only need to have your ASQ-3 User’s Guide; and ASQ:SE-2 User’s Guide.

About the Learning Session
Q: What is the ASQ Online Hands-On Learning Session?
For 2020, we are offering one ASQ Online Hands-On Learning Session geared specifically towards customers using or considering using the ASQ Online data management system. Our expert ASQ Implementation Specialist will provide interactive instruction on using the ASQ Online system. This training session will occur on Thursday, August 6. If you are attending the ASQ Online Hands-On Learning Session, please plan to participate until 4:00 p.m. ET

Registration and Fees
Q. What is included in the ASQ Online Hands-On Learning Session?
The ASQ Online Hands-On Learning Session will focus on the technical uses of the ASQ Online system. The Seminar covers the process of getting started with the online system from discussing roles, setting up child profiles, entering screenings, managing data, and creating mail outs. Additionally, for administrators we will cover entering new users and product key codes, assigning providers to children, reporting, and Family Access set up and administration. You must provide your own laptop or tablet for this training. We will provide the demo account. Space is limited to the first 20 paid registrations.
Q. Is there an additional fee for the ASQ Online Hands-On Learning Session?
Yes, there is an additional fee of $325.00 per person. Seating is limited and requires additional and separate registration.
