Brookes accepts four means of payment:

Credit Cards

VISA, MasterCard, and American Express


Purchase Orders (POs)

  • You can attach the PO to a mailed or faxed order form, order by phone, or order online.

  • If you order with a PO number online, make sure to enter your institution's name in the appropriate blank on the form. Please do not send an additional or duplicate copy by mail or FAX.

  • All orders paid for by PO are subject to a 2% Purchase Order Processing Fee. The 2% fee is calculated based on the order total before taxes and shipping and handling charges.

  • First-time customers using POs may be subject to a credit review. You may be contacted prior to the processing of your order.


Checks and Money Orders

  • Checks and money orders are not accepted for online orders.

  • Make checks and money orders payable to Brookes Publishing Co.

  • Payment must always be in U.S. dollars, and all checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank.

  • Please add appropriate shipping and handling charges (UPS Ground Rate in the continental U.S.: $5.00 for orders up to $50.00; 10% of the order total for orders from $50.00 to $400.00; and 8% of the order subtotal for order over $400.00).   • Maryland orders add 5% sales tax.
